Qigong means subtle vital energy (Qi) practice (gong). Qigong practices are standing practices that use movement, breath, visualization, and a calm, focused mind to cultivate and circulate this vital energy in the body for health and healing.

Meditation is a seated practice that uses the six basic powers of intention, posture, breath, attention, stimulation, and invocation to bring one into deeper states of unity with consciousness and an expanded understanding and experience of the self.
